Once your child completes a taster class, the monthly subscription must then be put in place before further classes can be attended. This subscription will cover all classes from the beginning of the month which follows the taster class.
Depending upon which part of the month your child starts classes, there may be sessions scheduled before your monthly subscription starts and these will need to be paid separately to the monthly subscription. In this case we'll send an invoice which, again, must be paid before further classes are attended.
Once you have registered with us, a welcome document will be emailed to you. This document contains important information and must be taken into consideration before continuing classes. You should let us know if the welcome document has not arrived in your inbox within 48 hours of registration.
Please be aware that all new gymnasts must be registered with British Gymnastics as a condition of membership to Dan Purvis Gymnastics. This has to be completed after the child's second session (BUT only after October 1st 2023 has passed). To do this, parents need to follow the link which is provided in the welcome pack and complete the BG registration. British Gymnastics will require a payment of £22 at the time. It will need renewing annually on October 1st. Registration with British Gymnastics has a number of benefits but mainly covers any insurance issues that could arise.
With the exception of taster sessions. parents / guardians are not able to view their child's classes due to space limitations and safety concerns within the sports hall. We do invite all parents / guardians to view occasional classes and this is done by email.
